David Green

Chairman

David is a British film director, television producer and media executive.

After graduating from Oxford, he joined Yorkshire Television where he became the youngest ever YTV drama director, cutting his directorial teeth on the launch of Emmerdale (60 eps). He has since made over a 100 films and dramas including The Boy in the Bubble, Wilfred & Eileen, East Lynne, Nobody's House, The Chinese Detective and The Investigator; also, the award-winning 1914 All Out and Buster with Phil Collins and Julie Walters. Other movie-directing credits include Fire Birds starring Nicolas Cage & Tommy Lee Jones, Breathtaking and Car Trouble.

David was Founder and Chairman of September Films which made over two thousand hours of prime-time television and feature films including the Oscar-nominated Solomon & Gaenor and House of America. He became CEO and then Chairman of production and distribution group DCD Media PLC in 2007, when September Films was acquired by DCD. He stepped down at the end of 2013 to return to producing and directing under his Polygon banner, and now lives in LA with actress and philanthropist, Jane Seymour.
